 | Conservative Councillors delivering the People's Priorities |
 |
At a recent meeting with North West Conservative Councillors, David Mowat congratulated the Conservative portfolio holder for Value for Money at Warrington Borough Council (Fiona Bruce - Penketh & Cuerdley Ward) for the excellent work that she had done in already delivering total annual savings of over £1.5 million. He emphasised the fact that it was these savings that will fund an additional 22 Police Community Support Officers.
David went on to say; "at a time when other political parties only indulge in gesture politics; talking, promising but never actually delivering, it is great news for the people of Warrington that they can rely on Conservative Councillors to ensure that the people's priorities such as additional PCSOs are provided". David went on to say; "Just imagine if we can identify these savings from a budget of £400m., what a Conservative Government will be able to do with total national spending of over £500 billion each year, cut waste and put more money into front line services that we all want and need.Only the Conservatives will do that."
