Standing for Grappenhall & Thelwall Ward on Warrington Borough Council
Roger Cawthorne has lived in Grappenhall for nearly 25 years and attended both Thelwall Infant and Junior Schools before going onto Lymm High School.
Roger graduated from the University of Leeds with an Upper Second Class Honours Degree in Politics. During his time as an undergraduate he spent time working as in intern in Parliament and 5 months in the United States Congress working for former US Representative Thelma Drake.
He now works as a Parliamentary & Constituency Assistant to Warrington South MP David Mowat. His job involves organising Press Releases and Parliamentary Questions as well as liaising with Councillors and constituents in Warrington.
Outside of politics, Roger is a keen cricketer and enjoys watching rugby (both codes!)
