Around 270 premises in the Stretton area are now able to upgrade from the new fibre broadband cabinet served from the Norcott Brook telephone exchange. This is great news for anyone running a business or anyone with multiple devices all requiring internet access. You can work or play - smarter, faster, better – whether from your smartphone, TV, tablet or computer.
Check the Connecting Cheshire website to see if your home or business can be upgraded and then contact your Internet Service Provider or shop around for the best deal and order a fibre broadband service - it doesn’t happen automatically and you could make a saving compared with your current broadband contract! www.connectingcheshire.org.uk There is also a video available that explains the upgrading process and one that explains the benefits of fibre broadband. (Search You Tube for the Connecting Cheshire channel.).
Connecting Cheshire, a partnership between BT and Cheshire West and Chester, Cheshire East, Halton and Warrington Councils, is working to reach an additional 90,000 homes and businesses with fibre broadband by spring 2017.
